The Milan Prosecutor’s Office has dismantled an organization that offered “all-inclusive packages” to Serie A footballers under the guise of an event agency.

Italian football is facing one of its biggest off-field scandals in recent years. An investigation led by Milan deputy prosecutor Bruna Albertini has broken up a sophisticated business structure that provided nearly 50 Serie A players—including stars from Inter, Milan, and visiting teams—with luxury nights that ended in paid sexual encounters and the use of undetectable psychoactive substances.

The Guardia di Finanza operation has resulted in the house arrest of four individuals, with Emanuele Buttini and his partner Deborah Ronchi identified as the ringleaders. Through the company Ma.De Milano, based in Cinisello Balsamo, the organization operated under the facade of a fashion event agency, recruiting clients via the Instagram account “Made_luxury_concierge,” which was widely followed by the elite of Italian football.

An “all-inclusive” package: from football to luxury hotels

The service offered to athletes and businessmen in Milan’s wealthy district left nothing to chance. The evening typically began with dinner and a show at exclusive restaurants, followed by reserved areas in iconic nightclubs like Just Cavalli. However, the organization’s true “offer” began when the night turned private.

According to judicial documents, footballers paid astronomical bills of thousands of euros for tables full of champagne. The itinerary often ended in five-star hotel rooms, such as the Hotel Me – Il Duca in Piazza della Repubblica, or in properties managed by the organization to ensure maximum discretion and prevent athletes from being recognized in public venues. As reported by La Gazzetta, some of these properties were near the Tocqueville nightclub, a terrace in Ceresio, or the Pineta restaurant, where dinner shows with 70 to 80 women were organized.

“I have a friend who is a Formula One driver coming to Milan tonight and he wants a girl,” reads one wiretap, highlighting that the business was not limited to football but extended to the entire elite of sports and motorsports.

Use of “laughing gas”

One of the most concerning points for sports authorities is the systematic use of nitrous oxide, known as “laughing gas.” This substance, commonly used as an anesthetic, induces an immediate state of euphoria. For elite athletes, the appeal of laughing gas is that it is not detectable in doping tests. Wiretaps reveal direct orders from hotel rooms: “We are at the Me Milan, we need balloons.” This consumption underscores the health and ethical risks the footballers were exposed to under the organization’s guidance.

Exploitation and million-dollar profits

Behind the glamour of Milan’s parties and summer trips to the island of Mykonos, a dark reality was hidden. The organization recruited over a hundred young women—image models, hostesses, and escorts—many of them very young. According to investigating judge Chiara Valori, Emanuele Buttini and Deborah Ronchi, the leaders of this organization, kept 50% of the profits generated from sexual services.
